Schwing scwhing!
Lol… I was listening to a podcast last night on the way home from the gym and the guy interjected with an ad about this stuff called “Blue Chew”. Apparently, it’s an ED pill like Viagra and Cialis, but a chewable gummy.
Anyway, don’t care about the product.
It was this guy’s ad.
He’s like… “Get Blue Chew and use my coupon code so whenever you get… ahem… you know, you’ll think of me.”
I almost spit my post-workout McDonald’s all over my truck.
Now, THAT is an ad!
Anyway, in my warped head… I immediately thought, “Hmmm… what’s the Viagra of freelancing?” I mean, I want to write a cool ad like that!
Truthfully, though, there is one.
When most people first see it… well, let’s just say there’s no need for Blue Chew. Thousands of clients, millions in new client work… all there, wallets in hand, ready to hand it over to the right person.
No need to network.
Or, do a bunch of content marketing.
Or, wait weeks or months for your first client.
They’re right there… in droves… ready to hire you.
Schwing, schwing indeed!
Of course, I’m talking about Upwork. The world’s largest freelancing platform that averages over 8,000 new projects and 2.7 milly in new client work posted to the site every single day.
Boing!
Problem is… it’s competitive. Like a pretty girl walking into a Dungeons and Dragons party… there’s millions of freelancers fighting over every job on the site. You have to compete and win — often against some really good freelancers.
Especially hard when you’re new on the platform.
And, don’t have a… ahem… big job history.
Or, a massive Job Success Score.
That’s where I come in — cheesy smile and all. I teach a method of building your profile on Upwork that’s based on the science behind Upwork’s matching algorithm — the system it uses to match clients and freelancers.
Specifically, the three tests Upwork puts you through when you’re new.
And, how to pass those tests.
So Upwork shows you to more potential clients and ensures those clients are highly likely to want to view your profile and hire you. When you build your profile the way I show you, it’s like getting a shot of Cialis straight into your veins.
[Cue explosion sound effects].
Anyway, believe and do what you want.
Maybe new client dysfunction isn’t a problem for you.
If so, more power to you.
But, if Upwork gets you a little sweaty in the shorts and you’d like to learn how to turn on the spigot of new clients it can send your way, check out my R2 Protocol course (and read the reviews from other students).
May be just what you need.
