I had to sit my boys down.
They’re good dudes. They’re smart boys. I’m confident they’ll do just fine in life. But… they’re pretty chill. Not really in a hurry, not really super drive or passionate about any one thing — at least, not yet.
Chill, good dudes.
Their little sister, however.
SHE is aggressive.
Driven.
Focused.
She’s only 1-year-old and it’s clear as day. She started trying to roll over almost as soon as she got home from the hospital. Driven to crawl. Driven to walk. Relentless in learning how. And, now she’s working on talking.
And, she’s smart as a whip, too.
And yeah… I know.
Every parent says it. But, this is my 4th child. My oldest is 18 years-old and about to finish his Basic Training for the Army. I’ve been around the block and I’ve seen how kids normally develop. And, my boys were ahead of most kids.
But, her?
She’s light-years ahead of even them.
(Sassy, too. Her favorite, right now, is to throw her empty sippy cup at me and say “ba ba”… then, laugh. :D)
Anyway, it just reminds me what you can accomplish when you combine passion with intelligence. It’s a magic elixir. I assume if you’re here reading this, that you’re probably smarter than the average person.
Not just anybody decides to tackle freelancing…
And, start their own business.
It’s a special person that even attempts it.
Unfortunately, I find most smart people tend to overthink it. I wrote about this the other day… but the way to generate massive amounts of income as a freelancer is simple:
Get more clients
Charge per client
Execute on projects faster
If you focus on and DO those three things, there’s no way you can’t consistently grow your income. But, the smart person will scoff and say “too easy”. They’ll complicate it and dream up all the reasons it’s wrong or won’t work.
But, every 6- and 7-figure freelancer and business I know or have studied… this is what they focus on. Efficiency, sales and lifetime value. Nope. That won’t make your insides tingle… but, if you DO it, it’ll make your bank account sing.
In any case, step 3 in that process will happen naturally as you work with clients. But, the first two… they have to be planned and executed. Fortunately, they’re based on the same principle:
Perceived value.
The more you increase the perceived value of your services, the more clients will want to hire you (and you’ll get more clients) AND the more you’ll be able to charge for your services.
It’s all about *perceived* value.
And, as I’ve said…
That’s what I teach you in my 5-Figure Formula course. How to crank up the perceived value of your services to the point you can charge $10,000 and up for a single service with a single client.
Or, charge a little less and get MORE clients.
However you want to do it.
But, the power is in knowing HOW to increase that perceived value…
Without putting a bunch of extra work on your plate.
Anyway, do with that what you may.
But, if you want to see how I was able to charge $18,445 for a single website for a single client, I made a video that’ll show you how I did it. You can watch that here:
