Nature’s Quintessential Secret

Ready to get REAL wacky? Haha.

Seriously, though, in my early 20s I came across this collection of books. It was from an obscure writer and publishing company — who only sold their books via direct mail and only to a highly curated list of people.

Somehow I ended up on that list.

Who the hell knows how that happened…

Because these books were expensive.

But, as it turned out… it was the best money I ever spent. Those books dragged me, kicking and screaming, out of feeling sorry for myself and a deep pit of internal dishonesty and rationalizations.

No way I’m doing what I am now without them.

But, admittedly, they were quirky.

For example, one of the things this guy talked about all the time was what he called “Nature’s Quintessential Secret”. He called it the key to unlocking your natural potential and the source of all prosperity and happiness.

That, with it, you had access to nearly limitless productivity…

And creativity.

Sounds like a bunch of hooey! It cracks me up to think about it. Anyway, back then, I never quite got what “it” was — this “quintessential” secret. Because I was looking for step 1, step 2, step 3.

Someone to just hand me an answer…

That I’d scoff and screech “too simple” at anyway.

Today, however, it’s dead obvious. It’s my day-to-day life. It’s why I do everything I do… why I ruthlessly fire clients who annoy me, why I homeschool my kids, how I’ve been able to crank out 22 new courses the last few years…

Why I moved to the boonies and built a cabin.

Why I teach in the first place.

Why I show up here everyday in these emails.

It’s everything for me.

I’ve also noticed a lack of it is the cause of a lot of pain for many of the people around me. I see them wallowing in frustration and eventually despair — using drugs and alcohol as a way to cope — when the answer is right in front of them.

They simply refuse to embrace it.

It’s frustrating as f***!

Of course, I know for most reading this… I’m getting a huge eye roll right now. 😀 That’s okay. Can’t really blame you. But, know this… procrastination, uncertainty, lack of motivation, regret, frustration…

They’re all a symptom of the same problem.

A problem cured by Nature’s Quintessential Secret.

Believe what you want… but if you’ve been struggling with these things and haven’t been able to figure out an answer… consider that you might not actually know everything. That it might be worth having an open mind…

And, I might actually be able to teach you something here.

Anyway, that’s up to you to figure out.

For my part, I’ve embedded this secret throughout Part 1 of my new Freelance Feast course — and why I named Part 1: Your Quintessential Service. If you’ve felt like you’ve been missing something…

This may just be it.

That said, I’ve got Part 1 of the course up on Skillshare now. Just like my last course, it’s uploaded inside my Let’s Talk Freelance mega-course there — Lesson #3. I do this to give everybody a crack at it regardless of your financial situation.

Because, as a teacher on Skillshare…

I can offer you an exclusive 14-day free trial of the platform.

With that, you get unfettered access to all 30,000+ courses — including this new course of mine. What some people do, then, is start the trial, take the course and then cancel before the 14 days is up…

And you never actually pay a penny.

Certainly a few hoops to jump through.

But, might be worth it to you… especially considering that I’ll be taking the course down at the end of this month and selling it exclusively on my website — probably for around $150 or so.

Anyway, again, all stuff for you to figure out and decide.

But, the link to the course is here:

If you’re a Skillshare member already, that’ll take you right into the course. Again, it’s Lesson #3. If you’re not a Skillshare member, that’ll trigger the 14-day trial for you and you can get in on that.

P.S. Patre-homies… you already have access to Part 1. As you know you not only get access to all my existing courses, but you get early access to my new ones, including this one. You can find it in Patreon here:

I started this 3 days ago, following John’s suggestions, and I gained the Upwork Rising Talent badge in less than 2 days. I have a call with my first potential client tomorrow. Thanks, John!

John is the man! I followed his steps and I am flooded with interviews in a week. I got into two Talent clouds. The very next day, I got an invitation from the talent specialists from Upwork and a lot more. I wanna shout out, he is the best in this. Thanks John for helping me out!

After viewing John’s course, I made an Upwork account and it got approved the same day. Amazingly, I got my first job the very same day, I couldn’t believe it, I thought maybe I got it by coincidence. Anyways I completed the job and received my first earnings. Then, after two days, I got another job and within a week I got 3 jobs and completed them successfully. All the things he says seem to be minute but have a very great impact on your freelancing career.

I’ve been in an existential crisis for the last week about what the heck I’m doing as a business owner. Even though I’ve been a business for about a year, I’m constantly trying to think of how to prune and refine services. This was very personable and enjoyable to watch. Usually, business courses like this are dry and hard to get through…. repeating the same things over and over again. This was a breath of fresh air. THANK YOU.

I’ve definitely learnt so much in 2.5 hours than I’d learn watching different videos online on Youtube and reading tons of articles on the web. John has a natural way of teaching, where he is passionately diving in the topics and he makes it very easy to grasp — someone who wants you to really start running your business well by learning about the right tools and implement them in your online business. I will definitely share with many of the people I know who have been struggling for so long, I did find my answers and I’m sure will do too.

I have been following John Morris for several years now. His instruction ranges from beginner to advanced, to CEO-level guidance. I have referred friends and clients to John, and have encouraged my own daughter to pay attention to what he says. All of his teachings create wealth for me (and happiness for my clients!) I can’t speak highly enough about John, his name is well known in my home.

John is a fantastic and patient tutor, who is not just able to share knowledge and communicate it very effectively – but able to support one in applying it. However, I believe that John has a very rare ability to go further than just imparting knowledge and showing one how to apply it. He is able to innately provoke one’s curiosity when explaining and demonstrating concepts, to the extent that one can explore and unravel their own learning journey. Thanks very much John!

John has been the most important person in my freelance career ever since I started. Without him, I would have taken 10 or 20 years more to reach the position I am at now (Level 2 seller on Fiverr and Top Rated on Upwork).
