Got this verbal dart from A-aron:
Hey John. I understand why you are doing this but to be honest it’s not awesome. I bought a one year membership of Skillshare specifically for your courses. 🙁 I get it though, you make fore sure way more money selling the courses piecemeal on your website so I can’t fault you for that but it still isn’t great from our perspective.
Actually A-train… I’d say you don’t understand why I do it.
I mean look… I’m not an Iowan– uh, idiot. I know I’m going to piss a few people off with how I release my courses. I accept it. But, there’s thing… each one is up on Skillshare for close to a month upon release.
I send multiple notifications ON Skillshare.
I email here nearly every day about it.
You have MORE THAN ample opportunity to take the courses. So, your year membership is still a sound investment. Not to mention all the other courses of mine and others on the site. So, you’ll forgive me if I’m not sympathetic.
In fact, when I hear this I think:
Now, he KNOWS.
When I say there’s a deadline, there’s a deadline. Look, I’m not here to babysit you, pat you on the head and tell you you’re special. I provide training, I release it how *I* want and you either take it or you don’t.
I tell you constantly…
That’s for YOU to figure out.
But, don’t whine to me if you procrastinate until the last minute and end up missing out on something. And, if you want to own the thing outright so you can flip my deadlines the bird, I let you do that too — often at a steep discount.
I’m not shedding any tears.
Anyhoo, this is all pertinent beyond my typical ranting at the ether… because the deadline to get my latest course, Freelance Feast, for $134 OFF the regular price is coming to an abrupt end — tomorrow, June 4th at midnight.
If you want it at the lowest price it’ll ever be…
Now is the time.
As ZERO exceptions will be made.
Anyway, link to learn more about the course and the discount is here: https://myjohn.us/feast
JohnP.S. If you’re a patron of mine on Patreon, you already have access to this course (and all my courses) on Patreon here: https://myjohn.us/patreon.
